The Koochiching County District Court has determined that the following people are in contempt of court for nonpayment of child support. They may be subject to jail time and other sanctions if specific conditions imposed by the District Court order are not followed:
Ronald Kingbird, International Falls; Farrell Kingbird, International Falls; Fred Lane Jr., International Falls; Ronald McBride, St Paul; Bruce Munro, Valley City, N.D.; Jacob Newell, International Falls; Donald Parmeter, St Paul; Phillip Sawyer, International Falls; Shawn Strand, International Falls.

The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.

• Blayne T. Cox, 32, International Falls, was sentenced Aug. 4 for two counts of felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
One one count, he was sentenced to 13 months and, on the second count, he was sentenced to 15 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud and placed on five years probation.

He was sentenced to 27 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud.
